PEDESTALS FOR SETTING UP COLUMNS ONTO AN EXISTING BASE
podstavki1

Fixing fence posts onto a concrete wall with a supporting pedestal – METAL CRADLE

podstavki2

A post with a metal cradle is placed in vertical position. Drill a hole with a diameter of 5 mm through the post and supporting pedestal – metal cradle as picture shows. When drilling holes, be careful to maintain the vertical position of the post. It is also necessary to remove any rasping as it might start to rust. Insert inox pop rivets with a diameter of 5 mm and length of 10 mm, and then rivet it eight times with blind rivet pliers.

Affixing the supporting pedestal – metal cradle onto a concrete wall should be done using stainless anchor screws with 8 mm in diameter, so you can adjust the metal cradle subsequently. Use wide stainless washers and stainless nuts. We also produce narrower metal cradles upon previous order, in case your concrete wall is too narrow and a risk of concrete cracking might occur.
